Opal

Opals are subtle but full of unique colors. This colorway is inspired by the opals in my grandmother’s ring that she gave to me as a graduation gift. The ring was my ‘something old’ at my wedding, as my grandmother always told me that someone she worked with in the 1940’s gave it to her when she got engaged to my grandfather, and that that lady’s husband had given it to her years before. I have never been able to verify the story—it’s an excellent tale—but her ring is one of my favorite pieces.
